The Coin of the Year (COTY) Awards at ANA in Chicago celebrated outstanding coin designs.

What a fortnight this has been! Two weeks of wall-to-wall Olympic sporting excellence in Paris, which has finally come to an end. We now have a couple of weeks to rest before launching into the Paralympics which will also be a wonderful event. Then of course, passing of the baton to Los Angeles, where the US Mint will have an opportunity to build upon the great work done by Monnaie de Paris in 2024.

In addition, many descended upon the ANA in Chicago and enjoyed the opportunity to connect with industry partners in person. ANA also signals the time of year for Krause Publications to host their Coin of the Year Awards, which took place on August 8th.

This update will be dedicated to showcasing the Award winners announced at ANA last week.
